We woke up this morning to Maddie yelling at the top of her lungs..."IT SNOWED!!!" For the second time this week-we have had snow here in St. George. Sunday morning she couldn't stop screaming "IT REALLY IS CHRISTMAS! IT SNOWED MOM, IT SNOWED!" For weeks now she has been asking if it really is Christmas, since she hadn't seen one snowflake. I tried explaining to her that it doesn't snow much here and that we might not see snow this winter here. But even if it doesn't, that it will still be Christmas. This conversation turned into a "I want to move back to the Eagle Mountain" talk. She said- "It snows there, I have friends there, and the eagles miss me." Well to a 4 year old, that just seems pretty simple. Let's pack up our house and move back right?! So to wake up twice in one week and see snow on the ground, Maddie is having the best week ever. It doesn't stay around long, but it is enough to convince her that it really is Christmas time.
