A new puppy!

Last night we became pet owners...we bought an 8 week old Maltipoo. When we told Maddie that we were moving she asked if she could have a new dog to be her friend when we moved into the new house. We told her we would look into getting one. So we decided that it would be a fun christmas present for the family. We still haven't named him, but he is a really good puppy. Last night he just wanted to cuddle and watch Prison Break and 24 with us. And right now, he is taking a nap on my lap! He has become another shadow for me. Hayden likes him but has been keeping his distance. He seems a little annoyed that the dog is getting everyone's attention. I am not used to a dog with a tail. The dog I had growing up was a corgi. They are born without tails. So it is really funny to me to see his little tail wagging! Potty training is going great-so far-knock on wood!
