This last weekend, my family came down to visit. Michelle and her roommates all came down to look at apartments for when they graduate. I am so excited that she will be down here. We went out to dinner with my parents on Friday night. Then on Saturday we decided it was time to start getting the food storage room done. My pantry is in desperate need of reorganization. And the food storage room would help out so much so we went and picked up shelves from Costco. We cleaned out the room first since it had become a catch all for everything we didn't feel like putting away right. (*no pictures- it was WAY too embarassing!) And then we started setting up the shelves. Now all I have to do is clean out the pantry and get it organized and we ar
e all set! We also went to Lowes and picked out paint for our house. It has been on my to do list since we moved in. Now that I have convinced Josh that we need to do it-I am dreading it. But it will look so much better when we are all done. We are going with the colors here: http://www.eddiebauerhome.com/american_farmhouse.htm
(meadow for the family room/office/hallways and cranberry for the kitchen on the wall by the table) I will post pictures when we get it all done.

Food storage must be one of those new years resolution kind of things. I just bought 90lbs of wheat last weekend! I need to work on some neat-o shelving like yours, though!
And I knew it could only be a matter of time until there was paint on the walls of the Hood Home. The paint in your old house looked great. I can't wait to see the pictures of the new!
