I have had all intentions of keeping the blog up for the last 2 weeks. I really have. But hopefully here soon, things will get back to "normal" and it won't take so long to get things posted here. Josh was home for the first week that Grace was born. He was so helpful and I didn't have to hesitate to ask him to do anything. But by the end of the week, he was exhausted and I am sure ready to get back to work. The day he went back, my Mom came down for a week to help me juggle kids, schedules, and a new baby. And I am so grateful that I had her here. She cooked dinner every night, cleaned my house, helped with my kids...babysat so Josh and I could go to a movie. My sister Ashley then came up for the last few days to help and my Mom got to have all of her grandkids around. I am so thankful for them and for all of the help that they have been while I have been trying to get used to 3 kids.
Here is what I have learned so far:
1. Just when you get one child taken care of, another one will need something.
2. Someone will hit or take something belonging to the other child just when you start nursing.
3. The previous baby of the family will not want anything to do with the new baby for at least
the first week.
4. It is amazing the noise a new baby can sleep through-if only I had known this, I wouldn't have been so "quiet" around Maddie when she was brand new.
5. It feels incredible to pack up the maternity clothes!
6. I thought I did a lot of laundry before....that was nothing!
7. Just when you sit down to do something...the baby will wake up!
8. There is something about seeing your husband standing and bouncing a baby to sleep.
9. It is amazing how each child you add to your family you love just as much as your first.
10. Despite the sleepless nights, the family adjustments, the thousands of diapers, etc...there is nothing else I would rather do.

Amen, girl! I wholeheartedly agree with all 10! It gets better, or maybe you just learn how to deal with it! Things have gotten so much better now we're at the 3-month mark! Hang in there!
Those were beautiful sentiments - I actually cried. It's just cool to remember that despite the whining and crying and dirty diapers - it is so worth it.
