So to start off...things seem to be going well. We took Gracie to the doctor's office on Tuesday night and Grace is now off oxygen and we just might be down to one trip to the hospital a day now! WAHOO! Actually I am trying to be quietly excited about all of the progress because the last time I got excited (the day we checked out of the hospital) we ended up close to going back in that night. So I am happy but trying really hard not to show it too much. I will be very glad to have all of this behind us. It has made our family stronger but it has left us exhausted!
But just before the craziness of this last week happened my friend Lindsay tagged me. I like to be tagged (I am strange, I know!) so here it is. It is time for a fun post!
I miss my purse. I am back to a "Mary Poppins" style diaper bag again. My purse has been tucked away, waiting for a girls night to come back out-even if it is just for a few hours! But this SkipHop bag is pretty durable and for a girl with OCD like me, it has pockets for everything! Here is what is inside:
-wallet
-cell phone
-bottle
-formula container/formula packets
-extra burp cloth
-extra onesie
-diapers for Hayden (I wish I didn't have to carry these around anymore!)
-diapers for Grace
-snacks to bribe children on shopping trips that they think are lasting too long
-gum- a necessity (LOVE the new 5 gum)
-1 pediatric dragon nebulizer (gone soon!)
-wipes
-extra pens
-hand sanitizer (3) do you think I am a germ freak?! yep.
-saline tubes from the hospital
-bandaids
-tissues
-changing pad
-trucks (I frequently get bored at the store so these are for me! Alright, they are Hayden's but sometimes he lets me play with him!!)
This was actually a good chance to get my bag reorganized! So sure, I put off the clothes in the dryer that are waiting to be folded, bathrooms that need to be cleaned, etc. but I can check cleaning out my bag off the list! So I was going to just say whoever feels like filling this out-go for it! But here are some to tag anyway....Kellie (Larsen), Jodi, Rachelle, and Kim! You're welcome!

Rachel,
I've been out of town (well in Utah actually) and haven't been reading much lately, so first of all I just want to say that I am so sorry to hear about everything that has happened with Grace. Sounds so frightening. It's interesting to hear what it's really like since it is something everyone with a newborn fears. I hope things continue going well. So ... about the tag.. it's just to answer what is in our purse right now? Easy.
you are mary poppins look at all that stuff you have in your purse!
