8 years and still going strong!

Today is our 8 year anniversary! It is strange because in some ways it doesn't seem like we have been married that long and in other ways, it seems that we have been together forever. Here are 8 reasons why I love being married to the most handsome man in the world (you are welcome sweetie, you must love that being there for all the world to read!)...

1. No one can make me laugh the way he does. Seriously. Every day. It must be a goal of his because he succeeds...even when I am mad at him. Now that is an accomplishment.

2. He knows everything about me, my quirks, my crazy habits, etc...and he loves me anyway.

3. He is the most determined, headstrong, and hard working man. He works hard to take care of our family on a daily basis.

4. We have been through a lot together (and a lot more to come) and I can't imagine having anyone else right beside me.

5. He understands me...even when I don't come right out and say it. He may not agree, but after 8 years, that is okay.

6. He is such a great father to our kids. There were things that I knew I wanted in a husband before I got married and he had them...and then some.

7. He shares my addiction to ice cream. I used to eat my parents out of house and home with my ice cream consumption and I found my other half. It is nice to have him next to me on the couch with a bowl of ice cream!

8. He doesn't mind helping me out. Sure, sometimes it takes a bribe (like which David is going to win American Idol...not to brag but he has to mop my floors for me!) but he pitches in helps me get everything done.

Happy 8 year anniversary Joshwa...it has been a great ride and I am sure it will just keep going! Thanks for making it fun! I love you!
