Thankful Thursday

Having Memorial Day on Monday threw my days off completely! It wasn't until I read my friend Brandi's blog that it hit me today is actually Thursday!

1. Warm weather (not hot!)! The kids love to play outside and when the weather is icky...it can make for a long day inside! But thanks to parks and a backyard...there are hours of entertainment to be had!

2. Great friends... a big thank you to Brandi for offering to take me and my kids in for dinner when she heard that we would be alone tonight! It was so sweet of her to think of us!

3. I conned Josh into helping me refinish our bed frame...I knew when we bought it that sooner or later it would get a paint job. It is nice, don't get me wrong but oak just doesn't fit in anywhere in my house. Sure, only the footboard has managed to be finished...but it is coming along!!

4. The Lost 2 hour season finale is on tonight...great show! I teased Josh when it first started that it was just a glorified Gilligan's Island. It is anything but!

5. And speaking of ice cream in my post about our anniversary...I must say I am grateful for mint chocolate chip ice cream where the chocolate is shaved not chunked...I am picky picky picky!
