I have had a few requests for the instructions for playing our family favorite. It is simple, easy, and you can do it with a bunch of people. All you need is a good selection of candy bars and other candies, lunch sacks for each player, and a pair of dice. Here are the rules:
1. Everyone sits in a circle with their bags.
2. The candy all goes in the middle.
3. The first person rolls both of the dice. If it is a 7 or an 11, you get to choose a candy bar out of the middle. If not, the dice is passed to the next person.
4. If it is doubles, you count clockwise around the circle the number that was on the dice. That person receives a candy bar from the bag of the person who rolled the doubles. (ex. I roll a 4, I count four people clockwise from me and the fourth person gets a candy from my bag)If you have nothing in your bag, you don't have to give anything.
5. Here is where it gets interesting: If there is a candybar in someone's bag that you want, when you roll a 7 or an 11, you can ask that person for it. But you have the get the right person and the right candy bar. If you ask someone for a candybar that they don't have, your turn is over. But if you are right, they have to give it to you!! YAY!
6. When all candy bars are gone from the middle, start the timer for 3-5 minutes and continue the game. When the timer goes off, the game is over and the people who have candy bars in their bags get to keep them!

You forgot to add that you eat the candy bars and then wear them on your thighs for a few weeks! ;] Thanks for keeping my blog cute and updated. You're a peach Rachel.
