It's Pumpkin time again!

Every year we make it a tradition to go to the local pumpkin patch and pick out pumpkins for Halloween. Every year we bump up the date because it is slim pickins by the time we made it there the year before. :)

So this year we hustled out for family night. It was fun to have a bunch of our friends there (and someone to eat caramel pumpkin pie with, thank you Brandi!) This year we also added the fun adventure of the corn maze. The kids had a blast. They did get a little hesitant for a minute when Josh decided to make the non spooky maze "spooky" by hiding in the corn and jumping out to scare them.

Hayden also had his first encounter with Star Wars people (Josh says they are storm troopers, I will take his word for it, I have no clue.) and he wasn't so sure about them at first!

After that we rode another tractor out to the pumpkin patch and the kids did what they do best...hunt pumpkins. They ran around like crazy chickens going from one pumpkin to another until they found the "perfect" pumpkin. They played and played until it was too cold (ha, we have become wimps here!) to play anymore.
