1. General Conference was great. It was exactly what I needed. I would hate to say I loved one talk more than another but I knew it was going to be good when Elder Parry stood up first! He did an amazing job. I have loved him since I was little because he was the only apostle that was smiling in his picture. And Elder Wirthlin did a fantastic job too. I am thankful for our prophet. I also love the fact that Sunday morning we have a fun breakfast and then sit around in our pj's all morning listening to conference. I love having a Sunday where I am not running around trying to get three, and sometimes four ;) kids ready and out the door to church on time. There is no rush!
2. Digital Scrapbook swap nights...once a month we get together with a layout that we have done for the month and swap with each other. We have a great group and we always come away with adorable layouts that are ready for pictures! When we finished up with the paper group we wanted to still do what we do, just digitally and thought "Why not?!" We also scrapbook and chat and eat because what is a get together without all of that?
3. Grace now looks at me and says "Mamama"! It is amazing how quickly they put the word and the face together. Sure she said "Dadada" first like the other two, but there is something sweet about when they look at you and say your name!
4. Hayden is deciding this potty training thing is okay...on his own. It has killed me to step back and let it go but slowly he is deciding it is not such a bad thing. One day I hope to be writing the post that Lindsay just did. Maybe she will let me borrow Aiden!
5. I am thankful that the election is almost here and over with. I hate the fighting, the "I am better than you" mentality, the who is far more awesome than who, who has what celebrities endorsing their campaigns, etc. You get the idea. Good grief. Neither one is awesome. Both have things I would love to change. But since one has to become president it is a matter of picking the one I agree with most, the one that I feel will uphold what I feel is most important. No celebrity endorsement is going to change my mind, why does the media and the celebrity themselves think it will?!
Enough said.
What are you thankful for?
(I used this idea from another blog and thought it was a great idea to stop once a week and be grateful for the things in my life. Some funny, some silly, some wishy washy, and some down right sappy...but I am thankful for them none the less. If you want to do this on your blog, you are more than welcome to right click and save the image above and use it for your blog.)

I will let you borrow Aiden ANYTIME you want! He's quite the handful! :) Hayden will get it...it took Connor a good 6 months (that's why I was so surprised with Aiden).
