Thankful Thursday...Thanksgiving edition

Since next Thursday is Thanksgiving and more importantly...my first ever responsibility for the main event THE TURKEY, I know I won't be posting next Thursday. I will be busy with my fingers, toes, eyes, etc crossed in hopes that the bird doesn't end up looking like the pitiful one in Christmas Vacation. I will be sure to take a picture of it, most likely for laughs, kicks, and giggles for you!

Anywhoo...I did the ABC thankful list a couple of years ago when I wasn't doing Thankful Thursdays. I thought it would be good to dust off the ol' list, revamp it and do it again this year. Even if you don't do the "weekly" Thankful Thursday on your blog, you should do it too. I always find myself realizing that I am far more blessed than I started out originally thinking. Amazing how that happens!

A-America. Even though things have been rocky we are still blessed to live in such a great country. We are lucky to have the freedoms and rights that we have.

B- Blogs. I love to be able to keep up with friends and family and there are adorable blogs with how to do pretty much anything.

C-Church. I can't imagine life without knowing what I know without a doubt.

D- Dad and Mom. The more parenting I get under my belt, the more thanks I have for them.

E- Exercise..when I can squeeze it in. And on a side note, I am a teensy bit afraid of the lecture the Wii Fit will be giving me when I finally sign back in again!

F- Family and Friends. I couldn't survive without them.

G- Grace. She is my shadow. She loves to make us laugh. And I have never known a baby who loves to eat as much as she does!

H- Hayden. Sure, my batteries go missing from most remotes, knobs unscrewed...but he has a sweet heart. And he knows it. After he gets in trouble, he immediately pulls the puppy dog eyes and the "I'm so sorry Mom."

I-Internet. If I have a question, it has an answer. Not to mention I love emails!

J- Josh. He works so hard for our family. He makes me laugh every day. He is an awesome father.

K-Kisses and hugs.

L- Laughter. It really is the best medicine.

M-Madelyn. Always ready with an I love you drawing. I am amazed at how big she is getting. She is the best big sister.

N-Night time. I can get so much done. I love Josh being home. I love being together as a family. I love bed time.

O- Organization. No, I don't have it mastered.

P- Photographs/Photoshop/Projects...really they all lump into one! I am addicted.

Q- Quiet time. Whether in the middle of the day or at night once the kiddos are asleep, there is something peaceful about it.

R-Reading. There is so much out there to read. I love a good book.

S- Spring time. Flowers blooming, trees getting leaves, the whole shebang.

T-TIVO. Sometimes there is no way I am going to have time to watch something like oh say...The Office. TIVO makes sure that it keeps it around until I get a minute. GREAT INVENTION!

U- Underwear...2 kids down (minus an accident from time to time)...1 to go. WAHOOO!!!!!

V- Vacations. I love to get away with the family and experience things away from home.

W- Where we live. I am thankful for a home and a great neighborhood and great people.

X- eXamples. There are amazing people in my life and throughout history that I look to. They inspire me to do a little more and to be a little better.

Y-Yogurt...frozen. Just like ice cream, less guilt. MMMM.....

Z-zzzz's. I LOVE sleep. I really do.
