1. I am thankful for prelit trees and shatterproof ornaments. I made Josh rearrange the family room with me on Sunday, fought the urge to set up the tree until Wednesday and then was putting all the ornaments and stuff on Thanksgiving night. I don't know what is up with me this year but I couldn't wait! Usually the tradition is to do everything the day after turkey day but not this year. It was so nice just to put the tree up and get started. I dreaded stringing lights every year. I also invested in shatterproof ornaments. BEST. IDEA. EVER.
2. I am thankful that Josh has a job. We live in an area where lots of people have struggled since construction has slowed. We have had our own bit of job drama going on here but I pray all will be okay.
3. I am thankful for this time of year. I love the holidays. The smells, the traditions, the baking, family...all of it.
4. You never realize how much you love something until it is gone. Our ice maker is acting CRAZY and I miss my cold ice water and yes, milk with ice. I know, I am weird!
5. I pulled out the holiday stuff and was DEE-Lighted to find that in my extremely pregnant state last year, I had made Grace's stocking. I was thinking I needed to get the material out and make one this year. But all I have to do is stitch her name on and TA-DAH...all done. (That might not be happening until Christmas Eve knowing me!)

I 2nd the icemaker. Our's just stopped producing ice for who knows what reason. Now I have been resorting to ice cube trays that I always forget to refill until I'm out.
hey like love ice in my milk too! Have to have it super cold! Can't wait till tomorrow! :)
Ice in your milk?? Yeah, we had to replace our 3 year old ice maker a couple months ago...$250 dollars later, it works again! :(
I hope all works out! Your blog is so cute!!
See ya tomorrow night! YAY!
I love your Thankful Thursday design! Soooo cute!
What don't you do? I didn't know you make your own stockings. You're amazing.
Hard to believe that at this time last year you were expecting Grace. It feels like she has been with us forever...wait she has been! We love you all. You're in our prayers and hearts.
