Thankful Thursday

First Thankful Thursday of the year for me...long overdue!

1. I am thankful to have the craziness of the holidays over with. I love a to do list but when it is 10 miles long and doesn't seem to let up, it gets overwhelming.

2. Facebook. I never thought in a million years that I would EVER say that. I was reluctant to even get into all that stuff to begin with, but I have been able to get back in touch with friends that I haven't seen in years and even family too. Life is nothing to me without my family and my friends.

3. I finally got a new cell phone! WAHOOOOOOOO!!!! Good bye to the crap phone that wouldn't hold a charge and would randomly hang up on people. That is a nice feature when you are having a serious conversation and the line goes silent. The guy at the Costco Verizon store that I bought my new one from said they don't even sell my old phone (the crap Chocolate...stay away!!!) because it was such crap. Would have been good to know oh...two years ago! I am also proud to say that almost 2 1/2 years after moving here, I finally changed my number. I am nothing if not efficient. :)

4. I am thankful I found a New Years Resolution that I am actually going to follow through with this year. Although maybe I just jinxed it. Shoot.

5. We had snow that actually stuck around for longer than an hour. It was fun to have during the holidays and the kids loved playing in it. I am also thankful it doesn't keep coming back. Once in about 10 years to have a snow day seems about right to me.
