We made a trip to Lagoon and had a great time...here is the top 10 things I learned...
1. Don't think that if you go the week before school is in that it WON'T be crowded. Or hot.
It was both.
2. My kids are daredevils. There was NO ride intimidating or too scary for them. They loved them all. Maddie even rode Colossus twice.
3. I have 2 words for Lagoon.... Stroller. Pass. I am just saying.... Mickey has that all figured out.
4. We will be staying until they close the rides. No ifs, ands or buts about it.
5. This was the first time in a LONG time that I was not pregnant on a trip to Lagoon. All the rides seemed "new" to me. LOVED Wicked. (Thanks Tina for doin' kiddie land so we could go!)
6. Wet rides feel SO good on a hot day-but they leave you looking like a wet rat for the rest of the day. Still worth it.
7. "Tastes great" ... "Less filling" was not said once on the Tidal Wave. Am I really getting that old to where that isn't cool to say anymore?
8. I am too cheap to pay 8 stinkin' dollars for a meal. We hauled a cooler. Yes, it tipped off the stroller 3 times (yes we were dumb enough to pick it up and put it back on. We did learn our lessons the third time!)
9. Hayden was so bummed that he couldn't ride in the big bumper cars with us. Josh took him over to the little ones. He cried the whole way over. Until he saw the cars. Tears stopped immediately and he was in heaven.
10. Now that the kids remember what "Lagoon" is, I am not going to hear the end of "When are we going again" or my personal favorite "If I pick up my clothes, then will you take me to Lagoon?" Learning to negotiate at such a young age. Lucky me!

A cooler is the ONLY way to go at Lagoon! Nothing better than a homemade hoagie sandwich, some grapes, potato chips, a snack pack, crackers with easy cheese, and a ding dong after a day full of rides. I would much rather have all that yumminess than their greasy food. And, your kids sound like mine...they will go on ANYTHING. Connor thought he had died and gone to heaven after riding Wicked. Glad you had a good time! Wow, that was a really long comment. Sorry...
How fun! I love Josh's expression in the picture with him and the kids on the ski lift. He looks thrilled! ha ha!
Cute Layout!!!! I wanna go to Lagoon! :) That would mean I would probably get to stop by and visit you! I think you must be getting tired of me telling you how much I miss you!? haha
oh course it is a super cute layout...you are amazingly talented girl. good chatting with you...sucks i cant see you this weekend...i would so be bringing you some soup to make that sick crap go way!
