Yep, a whole lot of Mike n' Ikes. A Costco sized bag still sits mostly full in my pantry.
On my last trip to the good ol' Costco I told Grace to pick out a candy and she could have some every time she went potty. She saw the big green bag of Mike n' Ikes and it was over. She cuddled them through the store, insisted on them sitting on her lap on the way home and even had to carry them in from the garage. I told her she would have to use the potty before she could have any.
Once.
That is how many times she has had a treat.
I kid not.
I wish I was.
So then my next brilliant plan included that whoever had to change her diaper got to have her treats. That would crush her heart and she would decide to be done with that dang diaper.
I will just say this...I am sick of Mike n' Ikes. Uuuuggghhh.
Of course Josh ended up out of town for even longer so I can't even push any of them off on him.
Dumb dumb dumb plan.
I think I am off to Costco to buy a giant bag of something chocolate. Now that is a much better plan.
For me at least! :)

MMMMMMMM. Wish I lived closer. I'd definately change a diaper for a Mike N Ike!
haha! I tried all different kinds of treats too. You know what ended up working for us on both kids....
bringing a new baby home.
just sayin....;)
Have you heard of three day potty training? We did it with Tylee ( who just turned 3). She was really a stinker about potty training, but this seriously worked! She has been potty trained both day and night for about six months now. It is AWESOME!
Potty training is so frustrating! I'm not looking forward to potty training Cohen this summer. Good luck!
I laughed reading this :) aww I love you Rach! You are just like me, whatever works best. You'd think after 4 kids I'd know the answer-HA every kid is sooo different! Cayz has been wanting to go potty on her lil toilet & insists on her panties (hate that word)"undies" much better for the last week. I'm praying it's not a phase & she keeps it up :) or I might be heading to Costco for the goods soon... best of luck! Potty training is the worst part of motherhood..
I HATE potty training. So much that I don't do it. When my kids are ready to pull their pants down and go on their own they get potty trained.
I do love the idea of eating chocolate for every diaper changed.
GOOD LUCK! You are such an awesome mom! You can do it, and so can Grace! Just remember that all your kids are potty trained so she will be too...eventually! Hang in there!!!
