They really can be sweet...

It has been a long day. Josh is still out of town and I have been unpacking and editing photo shoots. The kids...well....the kids have been little stinkers today. We have a lot of "I didn't do it's" and "She is touching me" and my all time favorite "He is looking at me" going on today. Heaven help me. :)

I was searching for a picture and came across these. They are my new favorites. Totally candid and completely them. They were taken in our hotel room.

Josh was working and we were waiting for HOURS for him to be done so we could go play. It was warm enough outside but there was NOTHING around us for the kids to do. So I did what any desperate Mom would do.

I let them jump on the bed.

We don't jump on beds at home so this was apparently the equivalent of Disneyland to them.

(Apparently with their shoes on too...thank goodness for housekeeping that changed the sheets later on. She did change them, right?!)

Notice how awesome the mattresses are...they were the best hotel mattresses I have ever slept on. And there we are ruining them for the next guests.

I can't remember what was on but obviously it was WAY more entertaining than Mom with her camera.

And just like that, I am remembering how lucky I am to be their Mom, even when they don't like it when someone touches them....or looks at them.
