We took the kids to the "punkin' patch" on Friday night. It was so cute how they had it all set up. We went to the Staheli farms and while you wait for a tractor drawn ride to come and pick you up, they have animals you can pet (Hayden petted his first pig!) and a huge tube slide. You could practice roping a straw bull or putt in the straw mini golf course. We took the hayride out to the pumpkin patch. It was so picked over by the time we got there, but there were still pumpkins...just not too many. We are going to go a little earlier than the weekend before it closes next time! Maddie and Hayden found their "perfect" pumpkins...or should I say Maddie did. Hayden found a rock and he was more in love with it than his pumpkin. I thought we would get a cute family picture in the patch...Hayden was so ticked off about having to put his rock down, and we couldn't find anyone available to take the picture for us, so we did two different pictures. Oh well. We'll try again, when there isn't a rock distracting Hayden again!
