I am so lucky to live in a country where as a woman, I am respected and have the same rights and privledges given to me. I am so lucky to have the ablilty to choose to live and to worship how I want. I was just listening to a report on North Korea. They showed the typical life in that country. They are not allowed to worship anyone but their leaders. They can only have pictures of their dictators in their homes. They are told when they can come out of their homes and when they have to be indoors. I couldn't imagine living my life like that. I can come and go as I choose. I can put anything on my walls. I can run to the store when I am out of something and not have to worry about making it back before being caught. We fight for the freedom of others. Our soldiers sacrifice time from their families to fight for the things that we value. I don't see many other countries giving that chance to others. This country is amazing and I am so grateful to be a part of it.
