It's A...

So we went to the doctor's office today for the ultrasound. My Mom and sister drove down here early this morning, partly to be here for the ultrasound and also because this is the weekend where Michelle will be moving down to go to school. The doctor came in and he did a check of everything to make sure it is all developing correctly. We have 4 valves in the heart, a good looking diaphram, a perfect sized head and the brain is developing nicely. The spine is all there and accounted for. Oh wait, I know what you are dying to know....what is it? Well "it" didn't want us to see at first. The umbilical cord was right inbetween "it's" legs and the legs were tight against the belly. So we went on looking at everything else waiting to see if the baby would move so we could get a quick look. So we had to wait...and so will you...for just a second!! I know you love it! The kidneys are both there and developing nicely, we saw the little feet and could even count toes! After a quick look around the doctor went back to the area in question and looked for a minute, and then looked for a minute more and said "I think you have a little girl on the way!" Maddie was so excited that she was right. Actually, all of us girls were right. The boys were all wrong! So poor Hayden will be an only boy and have to deal with emotional and tempermental girls but that will make him a great husband one day. The baby is doing great though. That is all I could really ask for. Well, maybe one that sleeps really well would be nice too!
