Good news!

Hello all! We have good news. Grace is home!!! After her morning suction she took a turn for the better. Our doctor came in and said that there was no reason to keep her here unless I wanted to stay. What a silly question! He said that we would have to try taking off the oxygen and see if she would be okay or if we would need to take oxygen home with us. So for the first hour or so they turned it down to an eighth of a liter and she did great. So they took it off and we waited for a couple hours to make sure she would be fine. In the meantime, she was suctioned again and there wasn't much to suction! So they went through everything we have to keep an eye on and scheduled suctioning for the next week. Hopefully all will go well and I won't have to pack her up every 4 hours for suctioning for long! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to all of you for your prayers and your words of encouragement. They were definitely needed. We are so blessed and relieved!
