More snow...

It rained all day yesterday then last night the snow started flying! It snowed and snowed. The kids were so excited! This morning they woke up and were even more excited that it was still here. Maddie didn't even want to go to school because she said she would rather make snow angels and snowmen all day. When I picked her up at the bus stop she said that all she wanted to do was go home and play in the snow. So out we went. Maddie couldn't wait to get started. Hayden on the other hand is just not a big fan of the cold wet stuff. He played for a couple of minutes and helped push a snowball for a minute but then the complaining hit. "Mom I want to go inside... Mom, are you done yet? It is too cold!" So we finished up the snowman and Maddie did a couple of "snow angels" and we headed back inside. I think this is the version of snowstorms that we like...because as I type this, the sun is shining and the snow is melting. Just enough to play in and melt away!!
