Thankful Thursday

Where did this week go? Oh my goodness...it seems like I just sat down and wrote this! That was last week and here I am again. It has been one of those weeks.

1. Instant Messaging- it is nice to be able to have a conversation with Josh (and friends!) and not have to bug him while he is working. I can just type in what I was going to ask/tell him and when he gets a chance he responds. So convenient!!!

2. Kids who sleep at night. Grace didn't do so well a couple of nights this week and it has been a good reminder to be thankful for the nights they all sleep all night. And I am in a much better mood when they sleep because that means that I got to sleep too! ( I wonder how many more times I could say the word "sleep"!)

3. That our primary presidency meetings only have to be once a month! In my last presidency we had to have them weekly...because so many kids were moving in and out and there was always so much going on. This time around we just get together for a couple of hours once a month and we are good!

4. That it is a David vs. David finale for American Idol. Sorry to those of you who loved Syesha but I was crossing my fingers that it would happen just like this. It seems like a silly thing to be thankful for but I think that no matter the winner, they are both awesome! (I do have a slight hope for one just because I picked him to win LONG ago!)

5. Music. It can make or break my mood. There are days (okay MANY days) that I don't want to clean but if I put my ipod on it is amazing how much I suddenly get done. There are even times where I turn it on in the family room and I find Maddie and Hayden are sometimes willing to do more than their usual. It makes me feel happy!!
