I have heard a million things about Twilight and how I needed to read it. I managed to put it off for a LONG time. Friends would ask if I had read it and my excuse was always the same...I am so busy, I don't need to add something else to the list! I had also heard a few rumors that your house will be a mess because you won't want to put it down to clean...or do anything for that matter. Last Wednesday, Brandi brought her copy to borrow. After Enrichment that night, I picked it up at bedtime and read. It was good...but it got better and better as I got further into the story. Pretty soon I couldn't put it down. Now I can't wait for the movie to come out! So what took me so long?! Now I have to get back to cleaning so I can read the next book! (Thank you again Brandi for letting me borrow your copy!)

Yay for Twilight! When you start reading New Moon, just know that the beginning is a little difficult to get through (kind of the 2nd Nephi of the Twilight series)...but just keep pushing through it because it gets REALLY good about halfway through!!!
LOL! I just finished those books a few monthsish ago and it is true. My house and family were a bit neglected. So good, so good. I love those books. Can't wait for the movie now!
You are so welcome!! Yes, New Moon is a little...um...not as exciting as Twilight...UNTIL you get to about halfway again...then WOW!! Keep it up! You've got about 6 weeks to read 2 more books and then...BREAKING DAWN arrives on August 2!!! HOORAY!!! You gave me a digi-scrappin addiction..so, here is an addiction in return!! LOL!!

I liked the first, not so much the 2nd or 3rd. Personally, I think Joss Whedon did the same basic storyline better with Buffy and Angel. It was good reading and YES, very addicting! I hear her new book, The Host is fantastic though and even better than Twilight.
That is so crazy- because just this last week EVERYONE has been wanting to bring their copies of this book to me- I haven't given in just yet... but am getting close :)
