Oops!

As I was putting this layout together I realized something. I am doing this parenting thing backwards. I grabbed Grace and Hayden's pictures of when they were brand new with no trouble. I love digital cameras. Maddie however was born when we didn't have a digital camera yet.

We bought our first digital camcorder just before her birth and Josh read that it took digital pictures too. So we thought we were set. It also didn't help that I procrastinated packing my bags for the hospital. Nothing was ready when she came. I had been at the doctor's office earlier in the day after work and he scheduled us for a planned delivery on Friday (so he didn't miss any of the olympic events he had tickets for!) so we went out for our last date night that night and by 10:00 my water broke and we were off to the hospital. Leaving everything at home.

So there is only one actual picture of Maddie when she was born. There are TONS on our digital camcorder that we never figured out how to get off. They say that you will take millions of pictures with your first child and that as you have more, the number of pictures you take will be less. Since I had a really bad start, as we have had Hayden and Grace, the number of pictures has increased! Sorry Maddie!
