PETA is officially crazy. SERIOUSLY CRAZY. I read on another blog and then read the news article...(that sounded a lot like, I heard it from whatshername who heard it from whatshername and from whatshername!!) anyway...PETA wrote a letter to Ben and Jerry's asking them to replace the cow milk used to make their ice cream with human breast milk. I don't joke. Not at all.
PETA's argument: "The fact that human adults consume huge quantities of dairy products made from milk that was meant for a baby cow just doesn't make sense. Everyone knows that 'the breast is best,' so Ben & Jerry's could do consumers and cows a big favor by making the switch to breast milk."
Ben & Jerry's reply: "We applaud PETA's novel approach to bringing attention to an issue, but we believe a mother's milk is best used for her child."
I am with my buddies Ben and Jerry on this one....YUCK.

Yeah I am with you- it doesn't get much more jacked up than this!!! However, I do produce quite a bit of milk - if anyone is wanting to make their own "breast milk Ice cream" - just putting it out there....haha :)

K, that is just sick! But Jared on the other hand would probably agree. He always says "we drink milk that comes out of a cow and we think drinking milk that comes from a human is gross?" He has always thought it would be SOOO funny to make a batch of brownies with a little mother's milk and take a plate to his co-workers.

That is seriously OUT of CONTROL! I mean, come on people, mothers already feel enough like cows without people making their milk into icecream to sell (although it could be a lucrative business for a stay at home mom!!)
Can you imagine how sick that would be. In a way it would help me diet cause there is no way in heck I'd be eating Ben n Jerry's if they did that.
