I should be wrapping gifts and finishing the millions of Christmas projects that I have piled up with one week to go. ONE WEEK!!
1. I am thankful for the snow here. Don't get me wrong, I hate driving in the stuff, I hate shoveling it and when we lived up north and it was still snowing in Feb... and March... and April and even through May, I got a bit tired of it. But there is something about snow and Christmas that just go hand in hand. Now it is a Merry Christmas!
2. I am thankful Maddie got the day off of school. We have played in the snow, she has helped me with projects and played with Hayden and Gracie while I have tried to get stuff done.
3. I am thankful for this time of year. Christmas is full of traditions for our family and the perfect time to remember exactly what is important and the real reason why we celebrate.
4. Josh had to work late last night, courtesy of the snow storm that decided to blow through and I was starting to think he would never make it home. But he did and he got home safe. I am a complete worrier when it comes to traveling in the snow.

Yes, wrapping, wrapping and wrapping some more! I always think I am gonna get everything done early so I can ENJOY the holidays and time off....YEAH RIGHT! The list doesn't stop does it?!
But yes, I love this time of year too!

ok, so I saw Maddie's hair on Mom's blog. Are you kidding me-- it is so long and beautiful. And Gracie is all grown up. Time for another I guess!! I love the tribute to Hayden. How I wish they grew up and could keep it in the toilet, but I am still cleaning up after Jake. Hum. . .
