Our trip...day 3

It is taking me long enough to get these up isn't it?! I would post faster but I have to edit them before I post. They were pretty bad since the "beach incident" and they all looked grainy and horrible so I have been cleaning them up. Here is an example...

All the pictures we took from being on the actual beach on have that horrible grainy look to them. EVERY SINGLE LAST ONE! And my OCD just won't let me post pictures looking like that.

ANYWAY...moving on...

Ahh, Day 2 at Disneyland meant California Adventure.

And that means one thingHayden was big enough this year to ride and Maddie was still having panic attacks from riding it two years ago. Thanks to the stroller pass (aka...the best idea Disney ever had) Josh took Maddie and Hayden with him and then when I went I could take one person with me. Maddie said no but changed her mind at the last second and came with me and then preceeded to bawl all the way up the elevator and pretty much throughout the ride. So all day we told her she had to be good or we would carry her back on that ride! Mean parents. I know.

Hayden, Grace and I got our fill of the carousel while waiting for everyone at California Screamin'. There was no line for this ride and we didn't even have to get off and get back on. We just kept going around and around and around. F-U-N!!

I will say this though, even though the line for the new Toy Story ride is ridiculously long--it was well worth the wait. It was one of the cutest and most entertaining rides. The kids loved it and the parents did too!

We caught a Playhouse Disney show and Hayden about peed his pants when he saw Handy Manny...and the screwdrivers...and the hammer. Right up that boy's alley. He didn't take his eyes off the show the entire time. Now that is saying something!

And if he almost peed his pants with Handy Manny, he completely lost it when he got to see Mater and Lightning McQueen. He thought he had died and gone to heaven!
He then tried to take a souvenier tire home with him to remember the experience by, but thankfully Disney thought a boy like Hayden might come around and smartly bolted the tire down.
The Disney/Pixar parade was their best parade by a long shot. It was so cute. All of the characters from the movies were there. It was so well done and was worth having one of us stay and save a spot while the other took kids on rides.
We wrapped up the day with the 3-D movie "Tough to be a Bug". A bit freaky in the middle for a couple of kids (and some middle aged man) right in the middle, but a funny cute movie!

Looks like so much fun! Isn't the Toy Story ride the coolest? My kids loved it! And the "great to be a bug" show is awesome too. I love how you could smell & everything! Glad you had a fun time!
