I was in the kitchen starting dinner. Grace was at the table coloring with a crayon...or so I thought.
She found markers.
And thought she would make herself really pretty.
REALLY. PRETTY.
Normally I grab whatever I need to clean up the mess and then afterward wish I had stopped and took a picture first. This time I did it. I couldn't stop laughing because she honestly had no idea what she had done to her face.
She went right back to coloring as if nothing was wrong.
She had picked a great day to wear this shirt. It was one of those days!
Then I remembered this quote from conference last year and I am glad I took pictures, one day I will miss this...I think. :)
"If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered around the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will - to your surprise - miss them profoundly."

One of my favorite quotes! In fact, that whole talk is one of my very favorites. It helps put my life into perspective at this stage in life.
P.S. Have you heard that new Darius Rucker song? I heard it today for the first time. That's another good reminder to "relish life as we live it and find joy in the journey..."
Grace is a cutie. Your kids all look so much alike.
Cute!
HAHA!!! Grace looks beautiful with make up! ;)
Yep, time to make some colorful bubbles! HAHAHAAA
Great quote! We all need reminders of that sometimes.:)
I have been trying to do that with my kids more too. Makes life more fun when you aren't so worried about the mess.:)
She is REALLY. PRETTY.
That qoute made me cry....perhaps I need some sleep. :)
I shall remember it again tomorrow!
Sweet! She can go into business with me someday! :) haha! Gotta love it!
