End of Preschool

Well at least I am consistent.

I am way behind on:
scrapbooking
chores
returning phone calls
editing
emails
and BLOGGING.

I am attempting to get stuff caught up and who knows if I will ever get all of the stuff blogged. It seems a bit overwhelming so there might be stuff here and there but I am determined to get at least right now done. Baby steps, right? L-O-V-E that movie.

Baby steps.

So last week was a crazy busy one but the big event that Hayden was looking forward to was the end of preschool. His teacher put together a big fair for the kids. There were stations that the kids got to go to and do fun activites. I was in charge of playdough so I didn't get to follow him around and snap pictures (which he was grateful for).

But I did get a picture of him fishing at the station next to me. Cute kid!

When he got to my station I took a picture of him with the playdough, cause that is what us Moms do, take tons of pictures of our kids doing everything and anything. Hallelujah for digital!

The little boy playing next to Hayden looked at me and said "Hey you, why ya takin pictures of that boy?" I told him I was Hayden's mom. His response..."Are you sure?" Yep, pretty darn sure! :)

After the stations were done all of the kids got into lines and Ms. Lindsay had another game planned. She is one gutsy chick if you ask me. Here is why---

She gave each kid 2 water balloons...

Put her head through the posterboard and let them throw the balloons at her.

Yes, that is Hayden's second balloon. Thank goodness it didn't pop when it got her! Brave brave woman.

While we were waiting for all of the kids to have their turn attacking the teacher I asked Hayden to let me take a picture of him.

No way.

After a big "Pllleeeassee" and a "just real quick"...

still not gonna do it.

Even when I thought he wasn't paying attention.

He was.

Ms. Lindsay was an amazing teacher. I can't say enough good things about her. My little boy grew up this year, BIG TIME. He writes his name (sometimes on things he shouldn't...then tells me he didn't do it.) he can sort, and count, and loves school. My favorite happens to be him doing the Pledge of Allegiance. There is something about him saying "indivisible" or "indebisible" as he says.

I can't believe how big he has gotten.

I love this kid.
