Holy cow. I took about a BAJILLION vacation pictures. They are taking forever to go through. Plus they are on 4 cameras. (mine, the crap point and shoot, my iphone, and Josh's iphone...) Picture crazy much?
Yes.
Sooo....in the mean time....here is something I decided towards the first of the year (Jan 5th to be exact) to do this year.
Photo365.
Sounds right up a crazy photo lady's alley doesn't it? :)
I have attempted to do this in years past and failed miserably. You are surprised and shocked all at the same time, right?! I found myself so interested in Becky Higgins Project Life and Rebecca Cooper's monthly photos that I just wanted to try it again.
I made myself some rules right off the bat. I am halfway into February and am still kicking so if you have thought about doing it (yes, you can start now...don't wait until next year) here they are...
1. The photos have to be from my phone. This eliminates the pressure of having to grab the camera. I always have my phone with me.
2. Besides Instagram and my awesome but unable to read Chinese editing program for phone pics there is to be NO editing. None.
3. It is OKAY to miss a day...or two...or five. This is my biggest rule. I don't have to have a picture EVERY single day. I have surprised myself with how many days I have actually done it!
4. No fancy layout. Quick and simple. Pop the photos in for the month, add journaling and a couple of embellishments and done.
I purchased a couple of apps for my phone. They are:
1. Project 365 {Pro} 99cents in the itunes store
2.PicFrame 99cents in the itunes store
Project 365 has a calendar for you to put your photos in every day. It also sends you a handy reminder to get a photo taken that day. Love it!
PicFrame allows you to make collages for days when one pic won't tell the story! :) Plus it is so fun to play with.
Here is January:
One month down...eleven to go.
