No New Years resolutions for me!!

I hate New Year's resolutions. I fail miserably at them and then beat myself up because I didn't do anything I set out to do. So during the year, I try to just find something and work on it. I figure I don't have to wait until the start of a new year to improve. Well, I have had a "I need to be better about this" moment. I started developing pictures again, since there have been some awesome deals on developing. I looked back at all of the pictures that I have already developed that are sitting filed away waiting for me to get them scrapbooked. I feel bad. Maddie loves to look back at how little she was. I have a huge gap between 2003 and 2005. I felt like scrapbooking at one time and did Hayden's birth pictures...but then I stopped again. So this time I am going to scrapbook like a mad woman and get caught up so I don't have it looming over my head all of the time. I have collected so much scrapbook stuff, it would be great if it was put to good use. So tonight, since Josh is working on his business I found myself a little time. I was looking back at Maddie's birth pictures and her first year. I used to be a glue stick and a marker (maybe a couple of stickers) kind of scrapbooker. Not that there was anything wrong with that. But my album was SAD! It was also a 8 1/2 x 11 album and I was so stubborn to switch to the 12x12 but I have realized how much more I can get on a page. I remember when I first started scrapbooking when Maddie was little. To be honest, when Chenille in my ward in Layton invited me to scrapbook crop nights at the local scrapbook store with her, I went just to get some peace and quiet. I never intended to become one of the crazy scrapbookers with a hammer and all kinds of glues and ribbons. But here almost 5 years later....I am addicted! So I am starting with her newborn pictures and catching up. It has only been an hour and I have a page done!! (I know, I know, only one page but for me that isn't bad. I usually sit and look at ideas for at least an hour!) Hopefully, I will dig myself out of the piles of pictures soon and will be caught up!
