Yesterday was Josh's big 32! He had to work so after Maddie's kindergarten testing we went and picked up balloons and lunch and took it to him at work. He told me that he doesn't like to buy flowers or balloons because he thinks they are a waste of money. But who shouldn't have balloons on their birthday right? When we pulled up with the balloons, he tried to act like he didn't need them but I knew they made him happy. And they made his office look happy! After work his golf buddy took him out for free golf to celebrate his birthday. And for the first time I heard Josh say he was sick of the heat. He will golf when it is raining to blazing hot but there has been a lot of humitidy from the last storm that came through here and it has made the heat worse. But we only have a couple of weeks left and then it will get better...yeah!! We took him to dinner at Texas Roadhouse where we were told that if we embarassed him and told the waiter that it was his birthday that we were dead. So we had a nice quiet birthday dinner. We came home and had birthday cake. Hayden was so excited that there was ice cream in the cake that he ate the entire slice! Happy Birthday Josh...we love you!!!!
