I know...I know...I have more posts to get caught up on but I have to take a minute and vent. I am thinking that when Josh asked me to marry him, he should have given me a sparkly cubic zirconia. I am clearly not the best at this whole diamond thing.
Many of you may remember the incident that happened a year and a half ago where the main diamond in my wedding set fell out and disappeared just before I went out of town. It was "somewhat" under warranty and we ended up swapping rings and avoiding the constant problems that I had with it for a new ring.
It killed me to give up my wedding ring, even though the new one was sparkly shiny new. That was the ring that Josh painstakingly spent hours picking out. The one he asked me to marry him with, the one I had on my hand for the first 6 YEARS we were married. It had been non stop in the "shop" getting stones tightened etc. We debated our options and it was what we had to do. I had to send this new one back to the "shop" to have stones tightened in it again. All was well. I was under warranty and everything was good.
Flash forward to Sunday. In the middle of the craziness of getting kids seated on the stand for our primary program, I happened to look down and I couldn't believe it. A diamond (not the main one, thank goodness!) was missing AGAIN! So yesterday morning I ran to the ring store and crossed my fingers. Since it was under warranty I am in the clear. No having to buy a diamond this time around! They were very nice about it. They didn't know my situation with my past ring or I am sure they would have thought I was pocketing them! I tried not to chuckle when the lady said "Well hopefully dear, you will stumble across it!" Riiight. Seriously, maybe the cubic is the way to go!

I always have that fear that I will lose my diamond. We put mine on our home owners insurance to put my mind at ease! I'm glad it was under warranty.
I lost my ring for a while and Koki found it behind my mom's washing machine. Random I know. Well hopefully you will find the diamond: ;)
How was the program?
I love Maddie's rainbow. It is so cute! We are working on Nicole's reflection now, too.
I can't believe your luck with rings! A warranty is definetly warranted!
I have some friends that have CZ and I would never know the difference!
mines fake...totally the way to go. I dont feel bad when it gets lost in the bottom of the drawer or underneith the piles of stuff in my house :)
