You find a project you just HAVE to do....
....Make a list
....get kids dressed and then loaded into the car
....find everything at the craft store but they are out of the one MAJOR thing you need to complete said project (stinkin' styrofoam heart)
....drive to 3 other stores, that are of course not even by each other, because you just can't give up on the dream and of course, bribe the protesting kids that if they can handle Mommy's crazy obsession, they can have ice cream
....call at least 4 more while running around
....go back to first store and buy anything you can substitute it for because remember, you just HAVE to do this
....decide to take a night "off" and catch up on American Idol while driving yourself silly cutting out over 300 red circles
ONLY TO REALIZE....
yeah, cute isn't it! :)
You are about 6 little teensy tiny red circles short of having a completed project.
Yep, I hate that too.

ha ha ha oh Rach, stuff like that happens to me all the time, it really does suck! The wreath turned out so cute though, I LOVE it!
Love it! I saw that idea on Studio 5 then again on Alysa Toponce's blog. I want to make one, but I don't know if I have the patience and stamina to cut out all the circles.
It looks great!
PS I miss your posts. Any plans to post more frequently?
PSS Do you have any good ideas for a cute spring craft? Has to be inexpensive, about $10 or less.
Oh no! It is seriously adorable though. I love it.
That is adorable and I must have one!! Want me to send you a couple extra circles?? So cute!
I love it! I love how you displayed it. I have been wanting to make another one, but alas...no heart shaped wreaths to be found here either! Even with the missing circles it still looks great! Thanks for the link!
Very cute! I made one of those, but with fall fabrics & I cut squares instead of circles. It's one of my favorite wreaths. Great job on it...and you can't even see the part that isn't finished.
I totally hear you, sister! But at least your project looks finished from the front and came out totally adorable.
I have been wanting to make one of those, but read on theidearoom that she couldn't originally find a heart wreath to do her Studio5 appearance! I saw the clip on her blog today and apparently one of her readers came through with a blank wreath for her.
I've been thinking about trying it with hot glue instead of pins and a cardboard wreath instead of a styrofoam one. Not sure if it will work at all!
Oh yeah have totally done that! Argh...Roberts to Michaels to Tai Pan and anywhere else...with kids in tow. If I see a heart styro i will get it and save it for you! It does look darling though! Great job! I have been in the mood to make something crafty & springy...oh yay, so excited to say that!;)
Thank you again! I just sit there and stare at my cute header!:)
Miss you and can not WAIT to see you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)
I love how you can DO EVERYTHING and ANYTHING! I want to be you when I grow up!!!

Love it. Turned out so cute. I want to make more, but probably won't. Maybe next year.
